Waste Connections of Canada, the leader in non-hazardous solid waste management in North America is looking for an experiencedDriver with Craneexperience to join our team in Surrey, BC. At Waste Connections of Canada we focus on Safety all day every day for our employees and our community.

Position Summary:

The Driver ensures safe operation of a truck, while driving, loading and unloading in the Lower Mainland and surrounding area. The driver drives to customer location for pick up, and hoists in-ground waste and recycling containers into truck via Hiab crane. The driver proceeds to subsequent customers until the truck has a full load, and then dumps the load at a transfer station or recycle center before continuing customer pickups.

Hourly rate: $27.50 per hour to start

Qualifications:

  • Class 5 License or higher with Air
  • Crane certified
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests
  • Welding experience an asset
