Northwest Container Servicesis looking to hire a highly motivated, not afraid to get their hands dirty, Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work on a variety of lifting and construction type equipment. 

Pay will depend on your skill level and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Shows up to work on time every day.

  • Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.

  •  Diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, Engine, transmission, suspension, differential, planetary, wet and air brakes on vehicles and equipment. 

  • Have basic computer / electronic skills

  • Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems and laptop programs for repairs.

  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

  • A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 6AM to 2:30PM.

  • Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 75 pounds.

  • Some overtime will be required as needed.


The ideal candidate will posses:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Have a Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Provide your own mechanics tools.

  • Ability to read, writes, comprehend and communicate service and technical information.

  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience working with heavy equipment.
