Heavy Duty Mechanic

Waste Connections of Canada has an immediate opening for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in London, ON to work on a fleet of garbage trucks. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will do a lot of hydraulics, brake jobs along with preventative maintenance and minor engine repair. You will be responsible for maintaining Waste Connections of Canada (WCC) vehicles and equipment in a safe working order. The Heavy Duty Mechanic will work directly with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all vehicles meet all provincial regulations and standards, and WCC safety standards.
Pay rate:$34.64 per hour
- 3:30am to 12:30pm
- 6am to 3:30pm
- 12pm to 9:30pm
- 3pm to 12:30am
Full time with benefits

With OT and bonuses - Mechanics can make up to $80K - $90 per year
- 310T license or Red Seal Equivalent
- 3-4 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests
- Valid CVIP license or ability to obtain one
- Commercial Driving License is an asset
