Job Description

Waste Connections of Canada, the leader in non-hazardous solid waste management in North America is looking for an experienced Front End Driver to join our team in Vaughan, ON. At WCC we focus on Safety all day every day for our employees and our community.

Position Summary:

The Driver ensures safe operation of a truck, while driving, loading and unloading in the Vaughan area. The driver drives to customer location for pick up, and hoists bin onto truck. The driver proceeds to subsequent customers until the truck has a full load, and then dumps the load at a transfer station before continuing customer pickups.

Location: 650 Creditstone Road, Vaughan, ON

Pay: $30.26/hr


  • Safety first mentality.
  • Solid experience driving Front End trucks
  • DZ Commercial drivers’ license is required and must be maintained.
  • Proven record of safe driving performance. (Clean Driving record)
  • Capable to work up to 10-12 hours per day.
  • Excellent spatial skills to position vehicle and bins effectively and drive accident free.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information to dispatcher and customers.
  • Available to work M-F
