Operations Admin

Manassas, Virginia

American Disposal Services has an immediate position available for an Operations Admin at our recycling facility in Manassas, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, data entry skills, be very organized, and excel in customer service. Monday through Friday day shift with an occasional Saturday as needed, approximately 40-50 hour work week.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Monitor and maintain compliance documents and employee files.
  • Maintain operational reports and analyze trends.
  • Facilitate recycling education events.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide support to scale house.
  • Assist with logistics and trucking.
  • Assist with preparation of safety meetings and events.
  • Interact with customers on an as needed basis.
  • Scheduling.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Moderate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Transportation logistics experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to learn and take on new tasks.
